It became apparent that fans require complete transparency with the club, receiving content consistently whilst being readily available on the go.
With this kept at the forefront of the design, along with cementing the clubs identity, the site was built to cater for the most common tablet & mobile viewports. This also involved stripping out the most irrelevant content on these devices to reduce page scroll.
Modern day fans crave content instantly in the form of stats, transfers, pre/post-match reports etc.
This was made achieveable by supplementing the club with complete admin access to satisfy fan demand in the form of a content management system.
Holding consistent and productive meetings with the club, we were able to satisfy these criterias with custom coding post variants. These management elements included fixtures, rival club, club news, club history, pre/post match, staff, player, general page, sponsor & honours
After collaborating with the client in fulfilling the requirements of the build, the launch of the re-design aligned with the start of the 2018 season.
Supporters were supplied with a digital experience that satisfied the demand for a modern day club website whilst providing the club with a more efficient website.
